These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experience, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility

- Submit venue tips, photos, reviews, and deal information
- Save favorite venues and earn rewards points for engagement
- Enter drawings and promotional giveaways
We are a discovery and information platform only. We do not sell, serve, or provide alcohol. All deals and specials are subject to change at the discretion of the individual venue. Always confirm pricing, hours, and availability directly with the venue before visiting.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Keep your password confidential and not share account access
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users.
4. User-Generated Content
The Platform allows you to submit content including reviews, photos, tips, venue suggestions, and deal information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:
- Represent that you own or have the right to submit the content
- Grant OnTapDeals.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform
- Understand that all User Content is subject to review and may be approved, rejected, or removed at our discretion
- Agree not to submit content that is false, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringing, or otherwise harmful
You retain ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of what you submit, but we need the license above to operate the Platform.
5. Content Standards
You agree not to submit, post, or transmit any content or engage in any conduct that:
- Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
- Contains spam, solicitations, or promotional material not related to the Platform's purpose
- Harasses, threatens, or demeans other users or venue staff
- Promotes illegal activity or the irresponsible consumption of alcohol
- Impersonates any person or entity
- Introduces malware, bots, scrapers, or other harmful code
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.
6. Rewards Points
The Platform may award rewards points for eligible engagement activities such as submitting verified tips, writing reviews, or referring new users. You understand and agree that:
- Points have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash or currency
- Points are non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, or combined between accounts
- Points are awarded solely at our discretion and are subject to verification
- We reserve the right to adjust, revoke, or expire points at any time, including in cases of suspected abuse or violation of these Terms
- The rewards program may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without liability
Any attempt to fraudulently earn points — including self-awarding, scripted submissions, or coordinated manipulation — will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all accumulated points.
7. Drawings and Promotional Giveaways
From time to time we may offer drawings or promotional giveaways. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry into drawings is granted solely through eligible Platform activity as determined by us. Additional rules, odds, and eligibility requirements will be posted with each individual drawing. Winners are selected at random from eligible entries. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any drawing at any time. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
8. Venue Listings and Deal Accuracy
Venue information, deals, and specials displayed on the Platform are sourced from venues directly, user submissions, and publicly available information. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Always confirm deals, hours, prices, and availability directly with the venue before visiting. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between what is listed on the Platform and what a venue actually offers.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
- Create fake accounts or manipulate the rewards, review, or contribution systems
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Circumvent any security, access control, or rate-limiting mechanism
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law or regulation
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform that is not User Content — including the SATX Happy Hours and OnTapDeals.com names, logos, design, code, and curated content — is owned by or licensed to OnTapDeals.com and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without express written permission.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, venue pages, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. A link on the Platform does not constitute endorsement of that site or service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONTAPDEALS.COM AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50).
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OnTapDeals.com and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as via a notice on the Platform or email). Your continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Platform.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 4, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.
18. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OnTapDeals.com regarding the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
